Dr. Enrique Rosario Aloma grew up in Cuba and arrived to the United States at the age of 12. After graduating from High School, he attended Florida International University where he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and Minors in Biology and Physics. Upon graduation, Dr. Aloma received a scholarship to Georgetown where he studied Cancer molecular mechanisms. Dr. Aloma graduated with a PhD degree in Molecular Biology.
In 2010 Dr. Aloma enrolled in Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine After graduation in 2014, he completed a Foot and Ankle Surgical residency at Mercy Hospital where he received extensive training in application of External Fixation. While training at Mercy Hospital , he also received additional specialized training in Orthopedic Oncology as well as specialized pediatric training in limb lengthening.
Dr. Aloma joined Florida Foot and Ankle as an associate and currently works with Drs. Adam Ringler and Gary Keller in Hialeah. He believes that patients always come first and goes the extra mile to keep them on their feet. Dr. Aloma is also a member of several Medical and Surgical national associations and has collaborated on several publications regarding limb salvage.
