Dr. Yana Azbukina Roddenberry joined Florida Foot and Ankle Associates in 2017. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from St. Petersburg College and transferred to the University of Tampa on a full scholarship. Dr. Roddenberry graduated from University of Tampa with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology in 2009. She then received her podiatric medical degree from Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine in 2013.
In addition, she completed her 3-year podiatric surgical residency at Miami VA/Jackson Memorial/University of Miami Hospitals, where she served as a chief resident during her last year. She is board qualified in podiatric surgery for both foot and reconstructive rearfoot/ankle. While in residency she completed training in Vascular Surgery, General Surgery, Internal Medicine, Emergency Room Medicine, Dermatology, Infectious Disease, Radiology, Pathology and Wound Care.
Dr. Roddenberry has extensive experience and training in General and Diabetic Wound care, Limb Salvage, and Infectious Diseases. She is committed to providing the highest level of care for patients of all ages with foot and ankle pathology by possessing excellent communication and diagnostic skills that allow her to make a diagnosis and tailor patient specific treatment plans. She is seeing patients at the Kendall location and is currently accepting new patients. She offers a variety of surgical and non-surgical services and treatments for sports injuries, heel pain, ankle pain, Achilles tendon pain, bunions, and more. Her services include sclerotherapy for varicose veins, Sculptra® filler (pillows for the feet), shockwave therapy, wound care, laser treatments for fungal toenails and more.
Dr. Roddenberry is on staff at Baptist Hospital of Miami, South Miami Hospital, West Kendall Hospital and Medical Arts Surgery Center at South Miami. She has professional society memberships with the Florida Podiatric Medical Association, American Podiatric Medical Association, American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, and the American College of Foot and Ankle Orthopedics and Medicine. In addition she stays current with her continuing medical education by attending seminars throughout the country. She lives in Coral Gables with her husband and daughter.
