Dr. Katherine Machado attended the University of Miami where she obtained her Bachelors degree in Biology and then earned her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from Barry University. She coursed a three year Podiatry Surgical Residency from 2011 to 2014 at South Miami Hospital/ Baptist health of South Florida. It was during this period that Dr. Machado was exposed to a wide variety of foot and ankle pathology, with particular emphasis in forefoot and rear foot surgery, diabetic limb salvage and wound care.
Dr. Machado is very compassionate and caring for her patients. She enjoys volunteer work and working with her community.
