Dr. Cantor has been practicing in Miami for more than three decades. He started his podiatric career in Chicago, where he lived while attending the Illinois College of Podiatric Medicine. In 1975, he graduated with honors and moved to Detroit, Michigan to complete a residency in surgical training.
After two winters in Detroit, Dr. Cantor and his wife Sandra moved to Miami to start a practice and a family. Initially, Dr. Cantor had an office in Coral Gables and he later opened a second practice in West Kendall.
Two years ago, Dr. Cantor and his partners (Dr. Richard Hochman and Dr. Elbys Era), moved their Kendall practice further west to be closer to the new West Kendall Baptist Hospital. From the start, Dr. Cantor was known as a gentle, caring and concerned advocate for his patients. Over the years, as the community thrived, so has Dr. Cantor’s practice. Dr. Cantor joined the medical staff of Baptist and Miami Hospital for medical admissions and outpatient surgery. Now 35 years later, Dr. Cantor is proud to be a part of Miami’s podiatric community and he continues to promote strong foot health practices to his patients.
